Chris Tossas, PhD has a strong technical background in Biomedical Engineering combined with management consulting acumen across the Pharma, Biotech, and Healthcare industries. He is passionate about using data and strategy to drive meaningful impact in healthcare and is equally committed to championing DEI at every stage of his career.
His career has spanned from management consulting at McKinsey & Co. to clinical strategy at CenterWell, a large primary care organization. Across both roles, he has translated complex data into decisions that matter, whether building product forecasting models and growth roadmaps for Pharma and Provider clients at McKinsey (e.g., competitive intelligence, care model redesign, portfolio strategy), or leading patient segmentation analytics, clinical outcomes dashboards, and executive-level reporting at CenterWell.
He earned his PhD from the University of Michigan as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow, where he applied the same rigor to computational models of pediatric cardiovascular disease (e.g., hemodynamic simulations, peer-reviewed publications, national conference presentations).
Outside of work, you'll find him at a concert, on a tennis or volleyball court, knitting, deep in a sci-fi novel, or hiking with his dog.
Tools, analyses, and strategic work spanning healthcare analytics and consulting.
Graphic design, data visualization, video, and writing: the creative side.
